The DSRVW-RA is part of the DECserver 708 familit and is a high performance serial device and terminal server that provides 8, 9-pin D-sub (DB9) serial ports supporting full RS232 8-signal modem control. With AUI and 10BaseT Ethernet the DSRVW-RA has connectors supporting up to eight sessions per port and speeds up to 115.2 Kbps per port. The DSRVW-RA has an external FLASH socket for the optional customer installable Flash card, supports a self-booting operation. The DSRVW-RA runs DNAS (DECserver Network Access Software), which delivers multi-protocol network support. The DSRVW-RA is designed for tabletop or rack mount configuration.
