Originally designed to provide redundant AC power for the MultiSwitch 900, the POWERswitch provides dual AC power to connected equipment. It's designed to automatically switch from a primary AC source to an auxiliary AC source whenever the primary AC source becomes unavailable. When the Primary source is restored, the POWERswitch switches the output back to the Primary source. The transfer time from one source to the other is seamless to the connected equipment and there is no in-phase requirement.

The Primary and Auxiliary inputs for the POWERswitch can be sourced from different phases of the same AC range. The POWERswitch is a great design in a small package. The unit weighs less than 2 pounds. Mounting slots support easy rackmount installation. The POWERswitch is very economically priced and comes complete with power cord and strain relief clamps.
