Cabletron’s MicroMMAC serves as the ideal remote office hub providing low cost-per-port connectivity along with the scalability and advanced management capabilities needed for a growing network environment. The MicroMMAC -22 and MicroMMAC -32 feature 12 ports, one Ethernet Port Interface Module (EPIM) slot and one Bridge Router Interface Module (BRIM) slot. The MicroMMAC-24 and MicroMMAC-34 provide 24 ports, two EPIM slots and one BRIM slot. The MicroMMAC’s are fully SNMP compliant and offer advanced management features through RMON and Cabletron’s Distributed LAN Monitoring (DLM). The MicroMMAC’s are available with or without Cabletron’s Hub Security for Ethernet networks, LANVIEWSECURE. Based on the concept of a secure repeater to thwart unauthorized users, LANVIEWSECURE offers both Intruder Prevention and Eavesdrop Protection.
