The TPT-4S allows an Ethernet device with an AUI interface to connect to a twisted pair network. It conforms to the IEEE 10Base-T and 802.3 Ethernet specifications.The TPT-4S features an RJ45 for twisted pair connections and a built in 12 inch AUI cable. Other features include Polarity Detection and Correction circuitry to allow the units to perform normally regardless of the polarity of the twisted pair receiver link. The circuitry allows the miswiring to be transparent to the user, however the TPT-4S will indicate a polarity swap by flashing the transceiver's link LED. It features six LANVIEW LEDs providing information for power, transmit, receive, collision, SQE, and LINK status. This model also features thumb screws for an extra secure connection.
