FDDI Gateway

The FDDI Gateway is configured in a single slot backplane with power supply. All hardware components are fully integrated and self contained and there is no pre- or post-requisite hardware or software. This “plug and play” network device is SNMP manageable and easily integrates with your existing enterprise management system. Preconfigured with FDDI DAS support, the FDDI Gateway can be installed in a live network - without disruption!

FDDI Port Pair (DAS or SAS)

• Front-insertable Modular Media Interfaces (MMI’s)
• Pre-configured for Multimode fiber with SC connectors
• Optional UTP-5 for RJ45 connectors
• Optional single-mode fiber with SC connectors  

• Front-insertable Modular Media Interfaces (MMI’s)
• Pre-configured for 100TX for RJ45 connectors
• Optional 100FX (Multimode fiber with SC connectors) TX ports can operate at either 10Mb/s or 100Mb/s (half- or full-duplex)
